Dr Gracey is a member of First Baptist church in Cleburne. He is a member of the praise band and orchestra and is a deacon. He is also a member of the Brazos Chamber Orchestra. He plays cello, bass and bass guitar
He is on the board of Directors for the BCO and of Texas State Optical.
He is an avid cyclist, both on the road and on the trail
